Our Services

We’re here for you.

  • Southern Queer Survivor Network offers direct, one-on-one peer counseling and case management to survivors of abuse. We believe that LGBTQ+ survivors deserve support that affirms all parts of who they are. Our team of queer advocates can provide safety planning and support for folks experiencing abuse. The support we offer ranges from logistical to emotional to material support.

Our goal is to help our people find healing, build resiliency, and ultimately gain the autonomy to live full lives.

However, our project is not a crisis line, and we do not have emergency housing at this time.

    Our survivor services include

    • Case Management

    • Legal Advocacy (includes protective orders & non-police involved options)

    • Therapy (availability varies)

    • Resource Pairing

    • Support Groups (virtual & in-person offerings)

  • We know that the direct cash assistance is the best indicator of survivorship is to meet folks' direct, tangible needs in order to support one's safety and wellness goals. Our goal is to disperse funds to LGBTQ+ survivors residing in the state of North Carolina, while prioritizing our most marginalized, Black and Brown Trans folks. We trust (and encourage) survivors to ask for what they need. With equity at the forefront and the knowledge that we have a finite amount of funds to disperse, please understand you may not receive all the money you ask for.

*Availability of funds is dependent on current funding status

We invite you to make an appointment to speak with one of our advocates.

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide emergency housing or a 24/7 crisis line.
